Brights Refund Policy
Effective date: September 11, 2026
This Policy applies to purchases of courses and related Services made through brights.ai, brights.study, aplusbrights.com, or other sales channels operated by Magent Tech Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The Company’s educational products and Services may be offered under the names Brights, Brights Study, A+ Brights, or K-12 Brights, collectively referred to in this Policy as “Brights.” These names identify the Company’s products and Services and do not refer to separate legal entities. All purchases are made from Magent Tech Inc.
1. All sales are final
Except as provided in Section 4 below, all course purchases are final and non-refundable once payment is completed. We do not offer a trial period, money-back guarantee, or change-of-mind refund.
This applies whether or not you have completed onboarding, received or accessed the personalized course, started any lessons, or used any of the purchased Services.
We do not provide full or partial refunds for a change of mind, an incorrect course selection, changes in personal circumstances or schedule, non-use, incomplete coursework, or unused access time.
Before purchasing, please carefully review the course description, what is included in the course, which elements are personalized and how, the terms of personalization and course delivery, the price, access period, and any applicable requirements.
2. No returns or exchanges
We provide personalized digital courses, educational content, and access to educational software. These products and Services cannot be returned or exchanged.
Discontinuing use, deleting an account, or requesting cancellation does not create a right to a refund or credit. Unused lessons, materials, or access time have no refundable cash value.
3. Onboarding and delivery issues
Course personalization requires the completed parent or legal guardian (“Parent”) questionnaire and student diagnostic. The standard delivery target begins only after both are complete. Time during which required onboarding information is missing, incomplete, or being corrected does not count as a delivery delay attributable to the Company.
If you experience an access problem or believe the delivered course materially differs from its purchased description, contact support@brights.study so we can investigate and take appropriate corrective action. Reporting an issue does not automatically entitle you to a refund, subject to Section 4.
4. Mandatory rights and exceptions
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
A refund or other remedy will be provided where required by applicable law or by mandatory terms or procedures of the ESA marketplace, administrator, school, scholarship program, or other purchasing organization governing the transaction.
If we cancel a paid course for a reason not caused by the customer, or materially fail to provide the purchased Services and do not remedy that failure within a reasonable time, we will provide the refund or other remedy required by applicable law and the binding terms of the purchase.
These exceptions do not create a general trial period or change-of-mind refund entitlement.
5. ESA and third-party purchases
Before purchasing, families are responsible for confirming eligibility, obtaining any required authorization, and checking the applicable program’s purchasing and reimbursement requirements.
A denial of ESA funding or reimbursement does not, by itself, create a refund entitlement under this Policy. Mandatory program requirements and applicable law continue to apply.
Any required refund will be returned to the original payment method or original payer through the applicable payment or program workflow. If an ESA program, school, or other organization paid for the course, the refund will not be paid directly to the family unless the family was the original payer or applicable law requires otherwise.
Payment-provider and program processing times may apply.
6. Effect of a refund
If a full refund is issued for a course, access to that course and its associated digital materials will end. For a partial refund or another remedy, any adjustment to access will be explained when the remedy is confirmed.
We may retain limited transaction and related records for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, program-compliance, and legal purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Effective date and earlier purchases
This Policy applies to purchases made on or after the effective date stated above. Earlier purchases remain subject to the refund terms applicable when those purchases were made.
8. Contact
For questions about this Policy or to report a billing, access, or delivery issue, email support@brights.study. Include the Parent’s name, order number or other purchase identifier, course name, and a description of the issue.
